Raz Weiner
Dr. Raz Weiner forscht in den Bereichen Performance Studies, Politik und Verkörperung. In seiner Arbeit befasst er sich mit Traditionen, Archiven und zeitgenössischen Formen von Kolonialismus, Rassifizierung und Queerness, der Produktion von Körpern und Wissen sowie der Ko-Konstitution von menschlichen Gesellschaften und digitalen Welten. Als ausgebildeter Schauspieler und Regisseur verfügt Raz über umfangreiche Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Performance und Kunst sowie in der Bildung und Moderation von multikulturellen Gruppen.
Bevor er Forschungsstipendiat (2023) und Gastdozent (2024) an der mdw wurde, war er an der School of Politics and IR an der Queen Mary University in London (2020-22) und an der Fakultät für Architektur und Stadtplanung am Technion in Haifa (2021-3) tätig, wo er zu " data-theatres" forschte und an innovativen digitalen Werkzeugen zur Bekämpfung sozialer Ungleichheiten in der städtischen Entscheidungsfindung mitarbeitete.
