Die Rektorin der mdw – Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien verleiht zum dritten Mal den Herta & Kurt Blaukopf Award für herausragende Dissertationen an der mdw. Diese Auszeichnung dient der Sichtbarmachung besonderer Leistungen im Rahmen des wissenschaftlichen Doktoratsstudiums und der Förderung von Early-Stage Researchers für ihre weitere akademische Laufbahn.

Wir gratulieren den Preisträgerinnen des Herta & Kurt Blaukopf-Awards 2024:

Elena Minetti: "Schrift als Werkzeug. Schriftbildliche Operativität in Kompositionsprozessen früher musique mixte (1949–1959)" (Institut für Musikwissenschaft und Interpretationsforschung)

Irena Müller-Brozovic: "Resonanzaffine Musikvermittlung in Konzertsituationen" (Institut für musikpädagogische Forschung und Praxis)

Barbara Wolfram: "Moving The Needle. The Portrayal and Representation of Gender and Diversity in Austrian Feature Films of the years 1997-2017" (Institut für Film und Fernsehen - Filmakademie Wien)

For the third time, the Rector of the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna will be presenting the Herta & Kurt Blaukopf Award for outstanding dissertations at the mdw. The award serves to highlight extraordinary achievements in the context of academic doctoral studies and to support early-stage researchers in their subsequent academic careers.

We warmly congratulate the winners of the Herta and Kurt Blaukopf Award 2024:
