noch einmal möchten wir Sie herzlich zur diesjährigen Verleihung des Herta und Kurt Blaukopf-Awards für herausragende Dissertationen an der mdw einladen. Diese findet am Mittwoch, 19.6.2024 um 17 Uhr im Bankettsaal statt. Wir gratulieren den Preisträgerinnen Elena Minetti, Irena Müller-Brozović und Barbara Wolfram! Wir gratulieren außerdem Stephan Geene, Ivar Roban Krizic, Wei-Ya Lin (mit Ragnheiður Erla Björnsdóttir und Jelizaveta Vovka), Kerstin Parth (mit Laura Ettel), Jagoda Szmytka und Arne Vogelgesang zur Förderung ihrer Projekte durch den AR-Pilot – Call für Artistic Research-Projekte an der mdw. Die interne Förderung für Pilotprojekte im Bereich der künstlerischen Forschung wird seit 2018 alle zwei Jahre ausgeschrieben. Wir wünschen viel Erfolg bei der Umsetzung! Aufregende Wochen liegen hinter uns und wir können äußerst zufrieden auf eine gelungene Lange Nacht der Forschung zurückblicken! Insgesamt 15 Stationen aus unterschiedlichen wissenschaftlichen Disziplinen sowie künstlerische Beiträge lockten ein vielfältiges Publikum an den Campus der mdw, der zum ersten Mal in diesem Rahmen zugänglich gemacht wurde, sowie zur mdw-Station auf dem Heldenplatz. Wir bedanken uns bei allen Forschenden, Künstler:innen sowie den Kolleg:innen aus der Universitätsverwaltung, die dazu einen wertvollen Beitrag geleistet haben! Sehr erfolgreich verlief auch die erste interdisziplinäre Spring School für Early-Stage Researchers, die von der Forschungsförderung im Rahmen des Festivals KlangBildKlang organisiert wurde. Die Keynote Lecture von Äsa Helena Stjerna „Sonic Entanglements“ kann in der mdwMediathek nachgesehen werden. Ab 2025 wird es die „isaResearch“ am Campus der mdw geben. Once again, we would like to cordially invite you to this year's presentation of the Herta and Kurt Blaukopf Award for outstanding dissertations at the mdw. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 19 June 2024 at 5 pm in the Banquet Hall. We congratulate the award winners Elena Minetti, Irena Müller-Brozović and Barbara Wolfram! We also extend our congratulations to Stephan Geene, Ivar Roban Krizic, Wei-Ya Lin (with Ragnheiður Erla Björnsdóttir and Jelizaveta Vovka), Kerstin Parth (with Laura Ettel), Jagoda Szmytka and Arne Vogelgesang for the funding of their projects through the AR-Pilot - Call for Artistic Research Projects at the mdw. The internal funding for pilot projects in the field of artistic research has been announced every two years since 2018. We wish them every success in realising their projects! Exciting weeks are behind us and we are very pleased to look back on a successful Lange Nacht der Forschung! A total of 15 stations from various scientific disciplines and artistic contributions attracted a diverse audience to the mdw campus, which was made accessible for the first time in this context, as well as to the mdw station on Heldenplatz. We'd like to thank all of the researchers, artists, and colleagues from the university administration who contributed to this event! The first interdisciplinary Spring School for Early-Stage Researchers, organised by the Research Support Department as part of the KlangBildKlang festival, was also a great success.
