Occupational Medicine and Preventive Healthcare
Company Doctor: Dr. Claudia Brössner, General Practitioner
As of September 2016, Dr Claudia Brössner, a general practitioner and a doctor of occupational medicine, is available to mdw employees as an attending occupational physician.
Her tasks include:
- Offering advice on demands and stresses in the workplace, such as ergonomics and indoor climate (regular inspections of all mdw buildings and workspaces)
- Performing hearing examinations for employees exposed to noise
- Performing eye examinations for employees working with screens
- Consultation hours for individual inquiries on the maintenance and promotion of health at work, the prevention of work-related illnesses, health burdens and complaints related to workspaces, work equipment, work processes or personal protective equipment
- Vaccinations and vaccination record monitoring
Special emphasis is placed on the strict observance of doctor-patient confidentiality (duty of secrecy).

Employees of the mdw have the opportunity to be vaccinated free of charge during consultation hours. Please bring the desired vaccine and your vaccination card with you. It is not necessary to register or bring your e-card.
