Reinhard Führer

Reinhard Führer was born in 1987 in Vienna. He studied performance harpsichord and basso continuo with Augusta Campagne, Wolfgang Glüxam and Stefan Gottfried at the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna. After graduating with honors he completed a specialised Master’s degree for basso continuo and ensemble directing with Jesper Christensen at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (Basel/Switzerland).

In addition to his teaching and correpetition activities at the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the MUK (Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien) he performed all over Europe and Japan. He plays guest performances as harpsichordist, organist and accompanist at numerous festivals for Early Music on a national and international level. Reinhard Führer plays in different chamber music constellations as well as with the Concentus Musicus Wien, the L’Orfeo Barockorchester, the Bach Consort Wien and the Viennese Symphonics.
