DESCRIPTION:Partimento – Realizing its Potential\nInternational Conference\ndownload the program as PDF \nThe conference will be free of charge\, but registration for passive participants is required. \nThe „warm-up sessions“ at the beginning of each day are intended to get all participants in tune with the fundamentals of partimento: singing. As a group we will experience applied counterpoint and singing in dialogue with historical solfeggio\, before these techniques are applied to the participants’ own instruments in the workshops. \n„Harvest time“ will see the „fruits“ of the work on the various partimento tasks in the workshops being reaped and presented. In addition to short presentations\, we would like to encourage interaction between the participants and\, where appropriate\, spontaneous experimentation. \n„Kaleidoscope“ sessions will consist of lightning talks\, held online or in person. DESCRIPTION:Ort: Seilerstätte 26\, Raum B o306 \nWährend im Paris des 18. Jahrhunderts die Musik des Barocks ihre schönsten und exklusivsten Blüten trieb\, waren sieben kleine Eilande in Kanadas eiskaltem St. Lorenz Strom das Ziel französischer Auswanderer in der neuen Welt. Sept-Iles\, so heißt heute noch der Ort\, in dem 250 Jahre später deren Nachfahrin\, die Flötistin Annie Laflamme geboren wurde. Als Québécoise fühlt sie sich der Sprache des Alten Frankreich ebenso nah\, wie sie als Künstlerin mit der Musik der Alten Welt verbunden ist. So zog es Annie Laflamme nach ihrem Studium der Querflöte in Montreal zurück in die Musikmetropole Wien. Hier lernte sie die heute Neue Welt der Alten Musik kennen\, deren Studium sie am königlichen Konservatorium in den Haag vervollkommnete. \nHeute lebt Annie Laflamme als Spezialistin für historische Flöten des Barock\, der Klassik und der Romantik in Deutschland. Sie arbeitet mit renommierten Ensembles wie z. B.\, Les Musiciens du Louvre (Marc Minkowski – FR)\, Musicaeterna (Teodor Currentzis – RU)\, (Oh!) Orkiestra (PL)\, Collegium 1704 (CZ) so wie der Concentus Musicus Wien. Ihre Konzertreisen als Solistin\, Kammer- und Orchestermusikerin so wie ihre Arbeit als passionierte Pädagogin führen sie durch Europa\, Amerika und Asien. Zahlreiche CD-Einspielungen und Rundfunkmitschnitte belegen Ihre künstlerische Tätigkeit.
