DESCRIPTION:A Rare Fruits Matinée\n*** english version below*** \n  \nMusikliebhaber*innen aus aller Welt versammeln sich\, um mit vielen Konzerten den Early Music Day zu feiern. Dieser Tag\, der jedes Jahr von REMA (European Early Music Network) organisiert wird\, fällt mit dem ersten Tag des Frühlings und dem Geburtstag von Johann Sebastian Bach zusammen und ist somit der ideale Moment\, um die Vitalität und Vielfalt der Alten Musik heute hervorzuheben! \nDas Institut für Alte Musik der mdw – Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien präsentiert in diesem Jahr seltene Früchte der Alten Musik\, die uns jeweils ein Fenster zu interessanten Epochen und Orten öffnen:\nMusik für Salterio solo führt uns nach in Italien ins späte 18. Jahrhundert\, mit Musik von G. B. Sammartini (1700/01 – 1775) und F. Perotti (fl. 1739 – 1773).\nMit »Héraclite & Démocrite« steht eine französische Cantate von Jean-Baptiste Stuck\, »Le Battistin« (1680 – 1755) auf dem Programm\, einem deutschstämmigen Italiener\, der in Paris Karriere machte.\nUnd mit Musik von Antonio Draghi (1634 – 1700) bringen wir eine kleine Vorschau auf unser internationales Draghi-Symposium\, das in Wien von 10. bis 14. This day\, organized annually by REMA (European Early Music Network)\, coincides with the first day of spring and Johann Sebastian Bach’s birthday\, making it the perfect moment to highlight the vitality and diversity of early music today! \nThis year\, the Early Music Department at the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna presents rare gems of Early Music\, each offering a glimpse into fascinating eras and places: Music for solo Salterio takes us to late 18th-century Italy\, featuring works by G. B. Sammartini (1700/01 – 1775) and F.
