Sie tritt sowohl als Solistin als auch als Basso-Continuo Spezialistin auf und spielt eine Vielzahl historischer<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Tasteninstrumente mit namhaften Barock-, Kammer- und Sinfonieorchestern. Besonders gesch\u00e4tzt wird Maria f\u00fcr die<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>expressive Lebendigkeit ihrer Improvisationen \u2013 beschrieben<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>als \u201eeinfallsreich, poetisch, lebendig\u201c (Markus Hinterh\u00e4user,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>K\u00fcnstlerischer Leiter der Salzburger Festspiele).<\/p>\n<p>Ihr internationales Deb\u00fct gab sie 2017 bei den Salzburger<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Festspielen in Mozarts<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>La clemenza di Tito, aufgef\u00fchrt von<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>MusicAeterna unter der Leitung von Teodor Currentzis und<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>inszeniert von Peter Sellars. Seitdem ist sie j\u00e4hrlich bei den Festspielen zu Gast und wirkte in bedeutenden Produktionen<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>mit, darunter Mozarts Idomeneo<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>(2019, T. Sellars).<\/p>\n<p>Als Assistentin und Cembalistin arbeitete sie mit Dirigenten<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>wie Teodor Currentzis, Marc Minkowski, Giovanni Antonini, Francesco Corti, Maxim Emelyanychev, Andrea<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Marcon und Christopher Moulds zusammen. Seit 2024 arbeitet sie zudem mit dem Orchester von Cecilia Bartoli,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Les Musiciens du Prince \u2013 Monaco.<\/p>\n<p>Maria pflegt enge k\u00fcnstlerische Beziehungen zu Ensembles wie Il Pomo d\u2019Oro, Freiburg Baroque Orchestra,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>MusicAeterna, Utopia und Kammerorchester Basel und war an bedeutenden Opernh\u00e4usern t\u00e4tig, darunter<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Staatsoper Unter den Linden (Berlin), Gran Teatre del Liceu (Barcelona), Op\u00e9ra Garnier (Paris) und Dutch<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>National Opera &#038; Ballet (Amsterdam).<\/p>\n<p>Ihre Diskografie umfasst<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>The Complete Da Ponte Trilogy<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>(Royal Opera of the Ch\u00e2teau de Versailles, Leitung: Marc<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Minkowski, Les Musiciens du Louvre), H\u00e4ndels<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Alcina<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>(Marc Minkowski und Les Musiciens du Louvre) sowie<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Purcells Dido and Aeneas<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>(Joyce DiDonato, Il Pomo d\u2019Oro, Maxim Emelyanychev).<\/p>\n<p>Seit 2022 ist sie Senior Lecturer an der Universit\u00e4t f\u00fcr Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien und seit 2023 zudem<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Senior Lecturer an der Universit\u00e4t Mozarteum Salzburg, wo sie historische Tasteninstrumente und Continuo Praxis unterrichtet.<\/p>\n<p>Maria Shabashova begann ihre musikalische Ausbildung im Alter von f\u00fcnf Jahren. 2012 schloss sie ihr Studium<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>am P. I. Tschaikowsky-Konservatorium in Moskau ab, wo sie sich auf Cembalo (Olga Filippova), Fortepiano<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>(Yury Martynov) und Klavier (Sergey Glavatskikh) spezialisierte.
