Elisabeth Wirth completed her master’s degree in recorder at the Universit\u00e4t Mozarteum Salzburg with honors. Her teachers were Gerd L\u00fcnenb\u00fcrger and Christoph Huntgeburth within a preparatory course at Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste Berlin. She completed the bachelor’s as well as the master’s degree with Dorothee Oberlinger at Mozarteum. Masterclasses with Walter van Hauwe, Kees Boeke, Paul Leenhouts, Han Tol, Vittorio Ghielmi and Erik Bosgraaf (to name just a few) provided her with important impulses for her playing.<\/p>\n

In addition to her recorder education Elisabeth takes singing and viola da gamba lessons. She sings in the award-winning youth choir „Die Primaner“ under Jan Olberg in Berlin. Elisabeth Wirth performes as soloist and chamber musician with artists such as Dorothee Oberlinger, Vittorio Ghielmi, Andreas Scholl, Nils M\u00f6nkemeyer, Enrico Onofri or Reinhard Goebel, the Ensemble Suonar parlante, the Ensemble 1700 or theMunich Philharmonics under Valery Gergiev.<\/p>\n

She is the founder of the Early Music ensemble Fontana di Musica with received a scholarship of the Deutscher Musikrat 2012 and also an audience’s prize at the Biago-Marini-competition in Neuburg an der Donau. In March 2017 she got into the 3rd round of the Deutscher Musikwettbewerb which held a „Recorder Solo“ category for the first time that year. For this achievement she received a scholarship and was affiliated with the Agentur Bundesauswahl Junger K\u00fcnstler.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>
