This workshop helps participants understand the basics of this style of writing and, using numerous examples (including those you bring yourself!), teaches how to read, understand, and transcribe such texts. All interested students (as well as faculty members) at the mdw are cordially invited to participate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Participants:<\/strong> maximum 15<\/p>\n<p><strong>Target audience:<\/strong> Students and faculty at the mdw, including both interested musicians and musicologists<\/p>\n<p><strong>Workshop leader: Michael S\u00f6llner<\/strong><br \/>\nMusician, instrument restorer, community chronicler\u2014and a specialist in all variants of cursive script.
