Maurizio&#8220; in Milan, Mozartwoche in Salzburg, Fest-Wochen der Alten Musik in Innsbruck, Cit\u00e8 de la Musique in Paris, Festival Internazionale di Musica Antica di Urbino, Barockfest M\u00fcnster, Festival Internacional de Musica Antigua in Daroca (Spain), Festivals in Bad Kissingen and Bad Reichenhall (Germany). He also performed in very important concert halls, as the Royal Albert Hall in London,\u00a0 the Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Teatro\u00a0 La Scala in Milan,\u00a0 Tonhalle Z\u00fcrich the Liceu Theatre in Barcelona (with Jordi Savall).<\/p>\n<p>Lorenzo Cavasanti is a founder member of the ensemble Tripla Concordia.\u00a0 He also\u00a0collaborates with ensembles such as Accademia del Ricercare, Zefiro, M\u00fcnchen Bach Solisten, Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, Janas ensemble, I Sonatori della Gioiosa Marca, Hofkappelle M\u00fcnchen, Europa Galante, Orchestra Teatro La Scala e Orchestra Verdi di Milano, Le Concert des Nations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In 1991 Lorenzo Cavasanti started his recording activity, a very busy and successful one, which brought him many awards from the international critic: the Cini Foundation in Venice awarded his recording of Mancini sonatas, and the varius cd recordings of Telemann music made with Tripla Concordia, recived prizes and awards from all over the world: Diapason d&#8217;or, 10 the Repertoire-Classica (France), 10 of Classic Cd, Eccezionale di Musica (Italy), Recomandado of Cd Compact (Spain), Amadeus cd del mese and other awards in U.S.A, Korea and Japan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lorenzo Cavasanti has been a teacher of the &#8222;Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana&#8220; (Switzerland). Today he teaches recorder and Baroque chamber music at the Bozen Conservatory of Music. He gives also recorder, traverso and chamber music\u00a0 masterclasses at the Universit\u00e4t Mozarteum Salzburg, at the ESMUC (Escola Superior de M\u00fasica de Catalunya) and at the Royal College of Music Stockholm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lorenzo Cavasanti was born in Genoa and is regarded as one of the finest recorder player of the time.
