5. Mauricio Kagel Composition Competition 2022
The 5th Mauricio Kagel Composition Competition took place from 1 - 4 February 2022. The aim of the competition is the creation and dissemination of new piano works for children or young people.
From 160 pieces submitted from 46 countries, a distinguished jury nominated the pieces for the final, which were performed by students by students of the Ludwig van Beethoven Department of Piano in Music Education.
