Self-printing in A3-format at the mdw printers

If you want to print documents from a USB stick on a printer of the mdw in A3-format, preliminary work is needed. The next generation of printing devices at mdw will be able to scale automatically. Until then, the following temporary solution may be used:
 

1.     open the pdf-file and go to print via the menu "File"
2.     select "Microsoft Print to PDF" in the upper left corner of "Printer"
3.     under "Customize Page and Options", "Customize" should be selected
4.     at "Page Setup" in the lower left corner select A3 as "Paper"
5.     save the file with "Print"

You should now be able to print this file with a USB at a mdw printer and it should come out in A3 format.

Remark:
docx files must first be converted to pdf format. Then they can be adjusted as described above.
