Lending Periods
- Sheet music: basic loan period of 2 months,
extensions possible for up to 6 months total - Books: basic loan period of 1 month,
extensions possible for up to 6 months total - For media classified as short-term items, the lending period is 2 weeks with no extensions possible.
- In special cases, loan periods may be shorter or the return of loaned media may be requested before the end of the loan period.
- For university teaching staff as well as doctoral students, these loan periods can be extended.
Loan Limits
- No more than 25 volumes may be loaned simultaneously.
- mdw teaching staff and doctoral students may loan up to 50 volumes simultaneously.
Retrieval Times for Closed Stack Items
Items stored in the closed stacks must be ordered using the online catalogue > dacapo and picked up personally at the circulation desk.
The following retrieval times apply:
