Use of the ub.mdw is free of charge and open to all. During > opening hours, you can do the following without formalities or fees:

• enter the library and use the available > technical infrastructure.
• browse through the holdings in the open stacks and the Reading Room
• order volumes from the closed stacks for use in the Reading Room

In order to borrow volumes from the holdings of the ub.mdw, you need to have a > library card.
