Group Rooms
The ub.mdw has two group rooms that are open during opening hours and can be used by all users as learning and working spaces.
Students and teachers of mdw can also reserve these rooms exclusively for a maximum of 4 hours and use the available presentation technology. Reservations must be made at least one day in advance. A current occupancy schedule is posted on the doors of the rooms.
The group rooms must be released immediately upon receipt of a reservation.
Please note: The group rooms are part of the library infrastructure and are not part of the room administration of the mdw. Exclusive use is only possible for study purposes or library-related course dates. The rooms are not available for non-library use.
Group Room 1
Group Room 1 is located in the Open Stacks for Books and Periodicals, it has a maximum occupancy for 16 individuals. Presentation infrastructure is available.

Group Room 2
Group room 2 is located at the rear end of the Open Stacs for Music and has a maximum occupancy of 22 individuals. It has a powerful AV system (data projector, active audio boxes) that can be controlled via VGA or HDMI interface or mini jack.
