The work was created during the exploration prompted by the Absurd Questionnaire:

No

The works were created at home in the second lab on the topic of father/fathers.

The first screenshot shows the prompt in large blue letters – NO

The second screenshot shows a painted-over carpet.

This carpet is also Qashqai. Its patterns recreate those found in Persepolis, a historic site near Shiraz dating back 2,500 years. Almost all the figures in Persepolis are male. In this carpet, a man is depicted killing a lion or another animal. I overlaid part of a drawing featuring a woman hugging two children while the man attacks. Above, the woman is shown crying, and below, she is depicted falling to the ground while people laugh at her. This contrast speaks for itself, needing no further explanation.

The carpet was inspired from this (Persepolis). The man killing the beast.

What boundaries do I draw with my father/fathers?

Where do I not want him to go?

Where did I not want him to go?

Where will I not want him to go?

What boundaries has my father experienced?

How do these boundaries relate to his social class, gender, sexuality, age, the place he lives, and his abilities?
