The University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (hereinafter "mdw") attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. In order to ensure a smooth and effective functioning of the university operations, personal data of students, employees, suppliers, customers etc. have to be processed. While doing so, the mdw respects the subjects’ rights of data protection and data secrecy in accordance with data protection regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG), the Telecommunications Act (TKG 2021) and the Research Organisation Act (FOG).
