mdw Publication Funding for early-stage researchers
From 2018 to 2023, the mdw - University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna offered an internal funding programme for academic publication projects six times. The aim of the call is to support excellent publications as part of the career advancement for early-stage researchers, whose dissertation was completed no longer than 5 years ago. In 2024, the funding was replaced by the mdw's Open Access Publication Fund, which is available in particular to early-stage researchers, whose publication projects can now be supported on an ongoing basis instead of the annual calls in frame of the previous mdw Publication Fund for Early Stage Researchers.
