Commemoration at the mdw

The mdw - University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna sees it as its socio-political task to confront its institutional past and to come to terms with it in a broader academic and artistic context.

 

The virtual memorial room is

• a place of remembrance for the members of the mdw who were persecuted, expelled and murdered under National Socialism
• a platform for a lively and contemporary discourse for a critical examination of one's own history
• an opportunity for research
