... The first steps on a stage ...

As part of the courses of study at the Department of Vocal Studies and Music Theatre, every student has the opportunity to perform on one of the stages of the department's stages (rehearsal stages, Neue Studiobühne, Schlosstheater Schönrunn) to embody a role in one of our productions

Schlosstheater Schönbrunn

The Schlosstheater Schönbrunn has a capacity of 392 persons when the orchestra pit is covered, and 342 people when open. There are 19 standing places and - 2 wheelchair spaces with 2 seats for accompanying personnel. The proscenium arch has a width of 9.5 meters and is variable in height from 4 to 5.5 meters. The stage measures about 13 meters at its widest point and has a depth of 11.5 meters.

Use of the Schlosstheater Schönbrunn is divided between the Department of Vocal Studies and Musical Theatre, as well as the Max Reinhardt Seminar.
