Born in 1970 in Salzburg
Studied German, musicology and history at the University of Salzburg.
Dramaturg at the Salzburger Landestheater (1995 - 2000) and at the Theater Heilbronn (2000 - 2002), at Operas Dortmund (2002 - 2004) and Cologne (2005 - 2009).
Since 2009 freelance dramaturg at various institutions including; Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin (Strauss' "Die Fledermaus"), at the Theater Augsburg (Purcell's "King Arthur"), at the Nationaltheater Mannheim (Weinberg‘s „Der Idiot“).
German translation for the new production of Leoncavallo's "Der Bajazzo" at the Volksoper Wien 2012.
Working As an author and lecturer for the philharmonic orchestras of Essen and Cologne, the Gürzenich Orchestra, the Deutsche Kammerorchester Berlin, the Salzburg Cultural Association, the Camerata Salzburg and the Wiener Konzerthaus.
Cooperation as a dramaturg in musical theatre and drama, amongst others, with Beverly Blankenship, Peer Boysen, Martin Duncan, Karoline Gruber, Patrick Guinand, Michael Hampe, Joachim Herz, Sigrid Herzog, Lutz Hochstraate, Tilman Knabe, Thomas Krupa, Harry Kupfer, Paulus Manker, Christine Mielitz, Christian Pade, David Pountney, Werner Prinz, Katharina Rupp and Christian Stückl.
