Sayuri Hirano came to Vienna after completing her Master's degree in Tokyo, where she furthered her studies with chamber music and accompaniment, as well opera-accompaniment at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität. She completed all three fields of study with unanimous selection for awards. She was a prize winner at the 23rd International Belvedere Singing Competition, received a scholarship from the Japanese Ministry of Culture. As an accompanist and pianist, she has participated in various opera productions at the Theater an der Wien and at the Volksoper Wien.

Since 2008 she is official accompanist for the Belvedere Singing Competition, and accompanist at various master classes. Teaching as accompanist 2005. In 2008 at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst. Many concert performances as accompanist, chamber musician and soloist.
