Stephan Rehm

Stephan Rehm, born in 1956 in Kassel, received his training in Munich at the State Music Academy for opera and concert singing and as a spokesman from Bavarian Radio. His first engagement took him to the Municipal Theatre of Würzburg for three years, where the young singer made first experiences as a classical opera (Sarastro, Gremin, Coline, and others) as well as operetta, musicals and drama bass.
This was followed by years with free guest appearances in opera and concert area, the Stephan Rehm and Others led by Japan, to Brussels, Frankfurt and Los Angeles, to Salzburg for Mozart Week and the Summer Festival in Italy, Israel and Switzerland, the Kassel Music Days, to the Leipzig Gewandhaus, ans Dortmund Konzerthaus, the Gächinger Kantorei, the Wien Modern festival and the festival pèlerinages in Weimar. Stephan Rehm opportunity, under the conductor Howard Arman, Sylvain Cambreling, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Ingo Metzmacher, Helmut Rilling, Markus Stenz had amongst other things make music, and to work with directors like Nicolas Brieger, Ursel and Karl Ernst Herrmann, Peter Mussbach and Werner Schroeter.
At current City Wien Stephan Rehm joined in recent years at the Festival Wien Modern, at the Volksoper, the Schoenberg Center, the Musikverein and always in productions of the Neue Oper Wien on. As spokesman known Stephan Rehm from many Ö1 radio productions of the ORF, at the University of Music and Performing Arts and at the Vienna Conservatory, he is a teacher of elocution and speech formation.
Since 1990 Stephan Rehm also works as a language coach for German pronunciation and dialogue in shaping German opera productions, among others nei the Salzburg Easter and Summer Festival, the Festival Aix-en-Provence (2005 to 2009 "Ring des Nibelungen" with Sir Simon Rattle), at the Opera National de Bordeaux, at the Vienna Volksoper and the United Stages Vienna.
