Jürgen Tauber, PianistStudies of concert jazz piano at the Vienna Conservatory. Since 2001, teaching activities (repertoire and solo accompaniment Musical, solfeggio/ear training and musical theory) at the University of Music and Performing Arts (mdw). Since October 2017, deputy director of the Department of Voice and Music Theatre of the mdw.

2005 to 2009 Head of the Musical department for the Institute of Voice and Musical Theatre at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Conducting or Musical Supervision in numerous musical theatre productions in Austria, Germany, amongst others at: Tiroler Landestheater, Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, Theater Hof, Landestheater Niederbayern, Sommerspiele Stift Altenburg, J:Opera Jennersdorf, "Wir sind Bühne" − Musikschulmanagement Lower Austria, Metropol Vienna and at the MDW. Currently he is working on a commissioned composition for the Tiroler Landestheater on the occasion of the commemoration year of Emperor Maximilian I. in 2019.

Furthermore, diverse activities as an arranger for Hofer Symphoniker, Tiroler Symphonieorchester Innsbruck, Quadro Nuevo, Südostbayerisches Städtebundtheater Passau, Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, Bühne Baden. Lectures on ear training and musical theory as well as master classes, amongst others with Prof. Noelle Turner (Folkwang University Essen) in the field of musical entertainment theatre. Various concerts as a pianist / musical director for Luzia Nistler, Caroline Vasicek, Eddie Cole, Patricia Nessy and others.
