Born in Lower Austria, coloratura soprano Daniela Fally completed her solo singing studies at the mdw in 2005 (with Helena Łazarska, Lied and Oratorio with Edith Mathis) with distinction, having previously completed the Musical course at the mdw. Furthermore, she studied journalism and communication sciences, musicology and theater studies at the University of Vienna. She also passed the parity stage maturity exams in acting.

She has been on stage since the age of 17, first as an actress, then as a musical performer and finally as an opera, operetta, concert and lieder singer. Immediately after completing her studies at the mdw, she was accepted into the soloist ensemble of the Volksoper Wien. After four years, Ioan Holender engaged her in the soloist ensemble of the Vienna State Opera. She has sung there as a guest since 2006 and as a permanent member of the ensemble since 2010.
