Gero Nivelstein, ActorGero Nievelstein completed his acting training at the renowned Westphalian Drama School in Bochum. Theater engagements have taken the native Rhinelander to the Nuremberg and Braunschweig State Theaters, the Schauspielhaus Bochum, the Bad Hersfeld Festival, the Regensburg Theater, the Salzburg Landestheater and the Salzburg Festival, among others. For the Young Singer Project he was also active there as a scenic coach.

Gero Nievelstein had a teaching position at the Hochschule für Musik in Würzburg for several years and worked for the opera studio at the Staatstheater Nürnberg. In addition to his work as an actor, he has also held a teaching position at the Paris Lodron University in Salzburg in recent years. For many years, Gero Nievelstein has been a producer of cultural events and founded the Bridging Arts initiative together with opera singer Frances Pappas. In 2016, they received the Salzburg State Prize for Cultural Education for the community opera "Noah's Flood" by Benjamin Britten at Szene Salzburg. In 2018, Bridging Arts was nominated for the prestigious Young Ears Award.
