Uta Simone was born and raised in Berlin. At the age of 16 she was already a scholarship holder at the Julius Stern Institute in Berlin for the main subject of singing. After graduating from high school, she initially trained as a graphic designer at the Lette-Verein in Berlin. After working as a graphic designer for two years, her encounter with the conductor Gerd Albrecht led her back to singing. She completed her opera studies at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin (UdK) with distinction.

From 2016 to 2022, Uta Simone was a lecturer at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music for stage voice for opera singers, and in the summer semester of 2022 she will be a lecturer at the University of Tübingen at the Institute for Media Studies for microphone voice.

She performs in recitals, readings and musical theater productions. Since September 2018, Uta Simone is a member of the VDS (Verband Deutscher Sprecher:innen).
