Eva Maria Riedl-Buschan has been on stage as a singer since the age of 15. In 2006 she completed her training (opera, lied and oratorio, IGP) with distinction with Prof. Helena Lazarska, Charles Spencer and Reto Nickler at the MDW. In addition, she took acting and dance lessons and deepened her knowledge in master classes with Prof. Claudia Visca, KS Brigitte Fassbaender, KS Christa Ludwig, Kurt Equiluz and Paul Esswood.

Immediately after her diploma examination Eva Maria was engaged by KS Brigitte Fassbaender at the Landestheater Tirol and was vocally coached by her. Through this engagement and her work as a soloist at the Vienna Volksoper she developed a large repertoire in the lyric mezzo-soprano field. Thus she was heard as Hänsel, Cherubino, Concepcion, Dorabella, Orpheus, Ramiro, Ariodante, Muse, Suzuki, Fenena, Dryade, Orlofsky and other roles in her field, was a regular cover at the Vienna State Opera and made guest appearances at the Zurich Opera House.

In concert, she has sung at venues such as the Musikverein in Vienna, the Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Stefaniensaal in Graz, the Congress Innsbruck, the Festspielhaus in Pölten, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Rudolfinum in Prague, as well as at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival and other renowned festivals. Combined with her many years of stage experience in both opera and concert, she has a broad knowledge of the technical and musical possibilities as well as the challenges of the singing profession.

In order to continue her education in the best possible way, lectures by speech therapists, voice doctors and workshops with various breathing and body therapists are a fixed part of her career. She sees her responsibility as a singing teacher also as a mentor and coach and has a large network to fall back on. She spent the last few years abroad expanding her international network and knowledge with accomplished colleagues and teachers from the Italian bel canto school. In 2018, she founded her own vocal studio "ArtMeUp" in Stockholm and gained coaching expertise through training in neurobiological research, which she completed with a certificate in Germany. In this context she supports artists and managers in their environment with fears, blockades and before important performances. Eva Maria Riedl-Buschan is a laureate of international competitions (Hilde Zadek Competition, Ferruccio Tagliavini, etc.). In 2007 she was awarded the MDW appreciation prize.

Her musical partners at the piano include Charles Spencer, Eduard Kutrowatz, Magnus Svensson, Dieter Paier, David Lutz, Florian Krumpöck, Gary Matthewman, Elena Larina, Marcin Koziel, Tim Ribchester and Lars Hallgren. She has worked with Adam Fischer, Prof. Leopold Hager, Julia Jones, Sir Mark Elder, Axel Kober, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Speranza Scapucci, Guillermo Garcia Calvo, Roberto Paternostro, Alexander Joel, Rubén Dubrovsky, Stefan Gottfried, Josep Caballé-Domenech, Aleksandar Markovic, Henrik Nanási, Jan Kučera, Gerrit Prießnitz, Sascha Goetzel, Alfred Eschwé, Andreas Schüller, Guido Mancusi and others.
