Born in Styria. After completing his education at the vocational school for electrical engineering in Gmunden, Upper Austria, he participated as a guitarist and stage technician in numerous tours with alternative rock bands in Europe, Great Britain, Asia and the USA from 2002. From 2006 he entered the world of theater and opera in the lighting department of the Graz Opera. From the classic lighting work on the spotlight to the lighting desk and lighting design, he was able to learn all aspects of lighting in the theater here.
From 2014 he worked as a controller at the lighting desk and was able to gain his first experiences with designing the light for international artists at "Operas of the Future", ballet performances of the ballet ensemble of the Graz Opera, as well as some children's operas and concert events. Since 2014, he has been a contributor to the lighting department of the Salzburg Festival at the Großes Festspielhaus and Szene Salzburg in the summer season.
In 2019, he obtained the diploma of lighting master and master of event technology with a focus on lighting technology. Since 2018, he has been responsible for scenic lighting on the stages of the Institute of Voice and Music Theater at MDW and designs lighting for productions at the Institute in collaboration with faculty and students.
In 2021, he was entrusted with the teaching of lighting for students of musical theater directing.
