Born in Seoul, she successfully completed bachelor's and master's degrees in concert piano at Seoul National University. During her studies, she subsequently worked there as an assistant répétiteur. She was a prize winner in numerous competitions in Korea and a finalist in the International Osaka Competition. She worked as a pianist in Korea with the National Choir and Opera Choir. Further studies in Vienna, at the Musik und Kunst- Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien, Master studies Vocal Correpetition Lied and Oratorio successfully completed with Carolyn Hague and Ralf Heiber, Vocal Correpetition Opera with Kristin Okerlund and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna Postgraduate Course Piano, Lied Accompaniment, Chamber Music Repertoire with Thomas Kreuzberger, Barbara Moser. She was also guest-correpetitor in many opera productions at MUK and MDW, under the musical direction of Peter Marschik and Michael Schnack. She has accompanied master classes of Grace Bumbry, Vladimir Chernov, Angelika Kirchschlager and Adrian Eröd. She also plays as an organist in various churches in Vienna. Since 2019 she has been working as a répétiteur at various international master classes and since 2020 at the Performing Center Austria.
