Concerts/Lectures/Artistic Research for the 200th Birthday

The festival for Clara Wieck_Clara Schumann will open with a discussion concert moderated by Beatrix Borchard. Lectures by Annkatrin Babbe, Stephanie Hodde-Fröhlich and Janina Klassen will inform about the current state of research on the morning of November 13. And in the afternoon, reports and discussions on Artistic Research projects by Michael Hudecek/ Christina Zurbrügg, Doris Ingrisch, Barbara Lüneburg and others are on the program. The program will conclude with a concert of contemporary arrangements of the theme Clara Wieck_Clara Schumann by Hannah Eisendle, Katharina Klement and Manon-Liu Winter, as well as a conceptual improvisation by students of the mdw.
