Scholarships & Grants

An overview of scholarships, grants, work scholarships and competitions of external as well as mdw-internal institutions can be found here. In particular, the doctoral scholarship of the mdw should be mentioned. One of the doctoral scholarships is intended for a dissertation in the field of women's / gender studies.

The adminsitrative department of Research Support is available to support mdw members in acquiring national and international funding for research or development and development of the arts.

Three FWF funding programs deserve explicit mention here:

•     The postdoc program "Hertha Firnberg" supports women at the beginning of their scientific career.
•     The "Elise Richter" senior postdoc program is aimed at qualifying applicants for professorships in Austria or abroad.
•     The "Elise Richter-PEEK" program is specifically designed for female researchers in the arts and sciences.
