Joint course offer of the University of Applied Arts and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

The cooperation between these art universities represents an expansion of the range of gender-specific teaching.

Completing a course at a partner university involves the following steps

 

  • For students of the University of Applied Arts Vienna the following applies:

For taking courses at the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, registration as a co-enrolled student online at the StudienCenter of the mdw is necessary within the general admission period.

In order to receive credit at the University of Applied Arts, an application for advance notification must be submitted in advance to the relevant Dean of Studies Office. The application should be sent by e-mail to kurt.wallner@uni-ak.ac.at or studiendekan@uni-ak.ac.at.

 

  • For students of the mdw - University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna applies:

In order to enroll in courses at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, it is necessary to register as a co-enrolled student at the University of Applied Arts Vienna within the general admission period (also possible online at: http://dieangewandte.at/zulassung).

The course certificate can then be credited at the mdw by the director of studies upon application.
 

Crediting

The crediting of the certificate takes place at the respective university.

Crediting as a free elective or free subject is possible in any case. If you wish to receive credit for another subject, please contact the Dean of Studies at the Angewandte or the Director of Studies at the mdw in good time (before the start of the course).
