Soobin Kim wurde in Seoul geboren und erhielt mit fünf Jahren ihren ersten Klavierunterricht. Ausbildung an der „Yewon school of Art“ in Seoul und an der „Seoul Arts High School“ sowie seit 2010 bei Christopher Hinterhuber an der mdw – Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien.

Die Pianistin ist Preisträgerin des „33^th Korean Times Childrens Piano Competition“ 2005 und des „6th Asia Chopin Competition“ 2006. Im Jahr darauf trat sie als Solistin in einem Klavierkonzert mit dem Kunpo Prime Philharmonic Orchestra in Korea auf, 2012 spielte sie das Tripelkonzert (L.v. Beethoven) mit der Kharkov Philharmonic in der Ukraine.

Außerdem trat sie bei ihren zahlreichen Konzerten u.a. im Wiener Musikverein (Gläserner Saal) sowie im Schlosstheater Schönbrunn auf.

Soobin Kim was born in Seoul and began studying piano at the age of five. She studied at the "Yewon School of Art" in Seoul and the "Seoul Arts High School" as well as, since 2010, with Christopher Hinterhuber at the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

The pianist is prizewinner of the 2005 "33th Korean Times Childrens Piano Competition" and the 2006 "6^th Asian Chopin Competition." In the following year, she appeared as soloist in a piano concerto with the Kunpo Prime Philharmonic Orchestra in Korea, and in 2012 she played the Triple Concerto (L.v. Beethoven) with the Kharkov Philharmonic in Ukraine. In addition, she appeared numerous times in concerts at the Musikverein Vienna (Glass Hall) as well as the Schlosstheater Schönbrunn, among others.
