First Round (pre-selection)

Audio-Video (DVD) recording  of one string quartet  each from groups A, B, and C (unedited  live videos only. It is allowed to make one video per movement or one video per piece.).

*Grouping of the String Quartets of J. Haydn

From the following  groups  1, 2, and 3, ONE WORK EACH is to be prepared and to be presented, with the decision on which of the three quartets is to be played in each round left up to each ensemble. One of these three pieces may also be used in the first round (pre-selection DVD).
