Entrance Examination
3 works from different stylistic eras:
1. 1 etude
2. 1 fast movement
3. 1 freely chosen work
The selection of works should correspond to the candidate’s current skill level (neither too difficult nor too easy).
Final Examination
Examination Programme:
- The candidate must prepare 3 works or individual movements of differing stylistic eras and genres, with chamber music being possible but not obligatory.
- These must include 1 slow movement and 1 fast movement.
- One’s programme should be of ca. 15 minutes’ total duration.
Evaluation Criteria
Under evaluation here are specific practical abilities on one’s instrument as well as appropriate musical interpretation and presentation of one’s pieces. Special consideration is also given to how one’s artistic skills have developed.
