MAKE YOUR BID TO HOST IN 2019!

Would your institution like to host the 4th International Conference of Dalcroze Studies in 2019?

Do you think you have what it takes to form an organizing committee?

This is your opportunity to host this prestigious and fast-growing event and make your mark on the global development of Dalcroze Studies.

The Scientific Committee invites interested parties to bid for the 4th International Conference of Dalcroze Studies in 2019.

This is a three-part process:

  1. Candidates present their bids at the 2nd International Conference of Dalcroze Studies in Vienna (2015); presentations are open to delegates, who we encourage to give feedback
  2. Committee reviews the presentations and feedback, and invites full applications
  3. Committee reviews the full applications; at least one committee member visits the prospective hosts; the Committee decides the host, which will be announced in 2017

Prospective hosts will demonstrate they have sufficient infrastructure and resources to present a conference according to the aims, objectives and organizational structures set out in the Dalcroze Studies Conferences Charter. They will make a convincing case for holding the conference in their institution/country.

Presentations should fulfill these criteria and address all the points mentioned in Section 9.5 of the Charter.

To receive a copy of the Conference Charter, please email Dr John Habron.

We request that presentations are shared between at least two members of a potential Organizing Committee.

A submission to present must be made via the online submission page for the conference. The deadline is the same as for all other types of submission.

We look forward to listening to your presentations in Vienna!

Dr John Habron

Chair of the Scientific Committee
