The IKM alumni club is a network of graduates of the Cultural Management programme and the doctoral programme at the Institute for Cultural Management and Gender Studies (IKM) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. It was founded in 2002 and has been operating as an association since 2013. The IKM alumni club now has over 250 members from more than 30 years, who are active in Europe and overseas.

The IKM alumni club supports communication between its members and their various fields of activity. It promotes the constructive exchange of knowledge and information on cultural management and the cultural sector and offers services such as networking meetings, training events and the regularly updated digital membership directory.

In addition, the IKM alumni club cultivates national and international relationships and is committed to strengthening the public perception of the profession of cultural manager and establishing the professional title.
