All important information and forms concerning the Doctoral Program at the mdw- University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (Doctoral Program).

The main target group of these lectures are students of the Doctoral Program at the IKM. The lectures listed here meet therefore the requirements of the effective curriculum.  In principle these lectures are also open to students of all course of studies of the mdw and other universities.

At the IKM  PHD-Studies in the field of Cultural Institutions Studies as well as the field of Gender Studies were written, supervised and published. The main supervised as well as the co-supervised PHD-theses are available at the IKM-Library. There you find the written theses so far, which are available at our library for display and short loan. A growing number of students, who write their dissertation at the IKM, wrote a master thesis at the IKM before. Though this is not a requirement for the supervision of a PHD-thesis at the IKM. The attendance of lectures according to the curriculum and after consultation with the main supervisor is one indeed.
