ERASMUS+ EUROPE TEACHING & TRAINING STAFF MOBILITY (OUTGOING)
Mdw teaching staff have the opportunity to conduct multi-day Erasmus+ (and SEMP) teaching visits during which they provide a minimum of 8 units of instruction total on two consecutive teaching days in the form of master classes, seminars, participation in event series, et al. at Erasmus+ and Swiss partner institutions.
This type of teaching mobility does not necessarily need to be bilateral. Conduct as an exchange (reciprocal invitation) is, however, recommended.
It is also possible to undertake multiple teaching mobility visits within a single academic year.
REQUIREMENTS
-
A Letter of Invitation from the Erasmus+ partner institution has been submitted and uploaded to Mobility Online, the mdw's application tool.
-
No invitation (Letter of Invitation) has been received/or additional teacher mobilities are to be carried out:
-
In this case, a complete application (consisting of CV, teaching outline, period of mobility if already planned) must be submitted in Mobility Online for each desired destination
-
All application documents must be written either in the working language of the host institution or in English. The number of applications submitted should be realistic in terms of feasibility (guideline: max. 5-7 host institutions).
-
Acceptance by the host institution takes the form of a letter of invitation.
-
If accepted, the final nomination will be made by the International Office of the mdw.
-
At the time of the planned Erasmus+ teaching mobility, the applicant must be teaching at the mdw or have a valid employment or service contract with teaching activities during the semester of the Erasmus+ teaching mobility.
-
2 consecutive to 7 teaching days are completed at an Erasmus+ host institution.
-
At least 8 teaching units. In combination with further training activities on site, the teaching load is reduced to at least 4 units.
-
Teaching is the focus of the mobility and is integrated into the curriculum of the host institution.
-
As a rule, Erasmus+ teaching mobilities - STA are considered business trips. Thus there is no obligation for making up teaching hours that were not hold due to an Erasmus+ STA absence. In any case each mobility should be in advance agreed upon and coordinated with the Department´s leadership.
