16th Flute Matinee "Auf ein Wiedersehen - ein Wiederhören"
Scholarship holders of the Werner Tripp Memorial Fund

October 9, 2021, 11 a.m.
mdw, Joseph Haydn Hall

For many years Werner Tripp taught at the mdw - University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. After his passing, his widow Karin Tripp established the Werner Tripp Memorial Fund to support young flutists at the mdw.
Thanks to her tireless efforts and generosity over so many years, tuition, course fees, travel expenses, the purchase of instruments, etc. are covered by this fund. In the 2020/21 academic year, a particularly large number of students at the Leonard Bernstein Institute and the Franz Schubert Institute have again benefited from this noble support.

This matinee is an opportunity to commemorate the work of Werner Tripp and to present the achievements of the scholarship holders.

Program

Flute students of the Leonard Bernstein Institute for Concert Wind and Percussion Instruments and the Franz Schubert Institute for Wind and Percussion Instruments in Music Education present an exciting program on a high musical level.

All Stependiat_innen on stage with Mrs. Tripp, who gave all a yellow rose in the hand. Final applause and traditional handing over of roses
