Die Pianistin Adela Liculescu wurde in Craiova, Rumänien geboren und ist mehrfache Preisträgerin internationaler Klavierwettbewerbe, darunter der George Enescu Wettbewerb Bukarest 2021, der Prix du Piano Bern 2018, der internationale Brahms Klavierwettbewerb in Pörtschach (Österreich), sowie in Detmold (Deutschland) 2017, der Bösendorfer Klavierwettbewerb Wien 2015 und der Beethoven Wettbewerb Wien 2013. Sie gab Klavierabende und Konzerte in der Berliner Philharmonie, der Philharmonie Gasteig München, der Philharmonie St. Petersburg, im Musikverein und Konzerthaus sowie im Schönbrunner Schlosstheater in Wien, Musikverein Graz, Stiftung Mozarteum und Haus für Mozart in Salzburg, Saint Martin-in-the-Fields in London, sowie in vielen anderen Konzertsälen Europas, Asiens und Amerikas. In ihrer Heimat Rumänien spielte sie oft in Bukarest (u.a. dem Rumänischen Athenäum, dem Radio-Saal, im Präsidentenpalast sowie im Königlichen Palast), sowie in über 40 anderen Städten. 2020 wurde ihr vom Rumänischen Kulturrundfunk ein Preis anlässlich des Beethoven Jubiläums verliehen. Abschlüsse mit Auszeichnung an den Universitäten für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien (Klavier Konzertfach, Kammermusik, Klavier-Pädagogik) und Graz (künstlerisch-wissenschaftliches Doktorat). Adela Liculescu ist offizielle Bösendorfer Künstlerin und ist die Pianistin des Quintetts Philharmonic Five, das aus Mitgliedern der Wiener Philharmoniker besteht, eine Konzertserie im Wiener Konzerthaus bespielt und des Weiteren bei der Eröffnung der Salzburger Festspiele 2021 und im Pausenfilm des Neujahrskonzerts der Wiener Philharmoniker 2023 zu hören war. Seit 2024 unterrichtet sie an der MDW – Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien.

The pianist Adela Liculescu was born in Craiova, Romania and is a multiple prizewinner of several international piano competitions, among them the George Enescu Piano Competition Bucharest 2021, Prix du Piano Bern 2018, the International Brahms Piano Competitions in Pörtschach (Austria) and in Detmold (Germany) 2017, the Bösendorfer Piano Competition Vienna 2015 and the Beethoven Piano Competition Vienna 2013. She performed recitals and concerts at the Philharmonic Halls in Berlin and in Munich, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Musikverein, Konzerthaus and the Theatre of the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, Musikverein Graz, Stiftung Mozarteum and Haus für Mozart in Salzburg, Saint Martin-in-the-Fields in London, as well as in many other concert halls in Europe, Asia and America. In her native Romania she performed often in Bucharest (among others in the Romanian Athenaeum, the Radio Hall, the Presidential Palace and in the Royal Palace), as well as in over 40 other cities. In the year 2020 she got awarded the Prize Celebrating Beethoven by the Romanian Cultural Radio Broadcaster. She graduated with distinction from the Universities for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (piano performance, chamber music and piano pedagogy) and Graz, Austria (artistic doctorate). Adela Liculescu is official Bösendorfer Artist and she is the pianist of the quintet Philharmonic Five, with members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. With this ensemble she plays a concert series in Konzerthaus Vienna and furthermore she has performed at the opening of the Salzburg Festival 2021 and in the intermission film of the New Year’s Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic 2023. Since 2024 she holds a teaching position at MDW – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

Pianista Adela Liculescu s-a născut la Craiova în România şi este câştigătoare a numeroase concursuri internaţionale, printe care Concursul George Enescu Bucureşti 2021, Prix du Piano Berna 2018, Concursurile Internaţionale Brahms de la Pörtschach (Austria) şi Detmold (Germania) 2017, Concursul Bösendorfer Viena 2015 şi Concursul Beethoven Viena 2013. Adela a cântat concerte la Filarmonicile din Berlin şi din München, Filarmonica din St. Petersburg, Musikverein, Konzerthaus precum şi la Teatrul Palatului Schönbrunn din Viena, Musikverein Graz, Stiftung Mozarteum şi Haus für Mozart la Salzburg, Saint Martin-in-the-Fields la Londra, precum şi în multe alte săli de concert din Europa, Asia şi America. În România a cântat des concerte la Bucureşti (Ateneul Român, Sala Radio, Palatul Prezidenţial Cotroceni, Palatul Regal), precum şi în mai mult de 40 de alte oraşe. În 2020 i-a fost acordat Premiul Celebrându-l pe Beethoven la Gala Premiilor Radio România Cultural. Este absolventă cu distincţie a Universităţilor de Muzică din Viena (pian, muzică de cameră şi pedagogie pianistică) şi Graz, Austria (doctorat artistic). Adela Liculescu este Artist Oficial Bösendorfer şi este pianista cvintetului Philharmonic Five, cu membri ai Filarmonicii din Viena. Cu acest ansamblu are o serie de concerte în Konzerthaus Viena şi a cântat în deschiderea Festivalului de la Salzburg 2021, precum şi în filmul din pauza Concertului de Anul Nou al Filarmonicii din Viena din 2023. Din 2024 predă la MDW – Universitatea de Muzică şi Artele Spectacolului din Viena.
