Relaunch of Bulletin of empirical music education research (b:em)

mdwPress is delighted to announce the successful relaunch of the journal Bulletin of empirical music education research (b:em). The journal has been redesigned and revamped with the move to mdwPress. This will be celebrated with a special issue on the occasion of the emeritus status of co-editor Prof. Dr. Andreas Lehmann-Wermser, who founded the open access journal b:em in 2010.


IJMM Call for Contributions

Passing of Heidemarie Uhl

mdwPress is deeply saddened by the death of historian and member of the Academic Board Heidemarie Uhl, who passed away after a short illness on August 11.


Music & Minorities: Call for Contributions

2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the official recognition of Roma in Austria as a so-called “Volksgruppe” (ethnic minority). The mdwPress journal Music & Minorities takes this occasion as an opportunity to dedicate a special collection of M&M to the field of Romani music studies.
