mdwPress is deeply saddened by the death of historian and member of the Academic Board Heidemarie Uhl, who passed away after a short illness on August 11.
She had been a member of the academic board of mdwPress since spring and we will miss her expertise and warmth. Heidemarie Uhl led the newly founded research focus on antisemitism studies at the Institute of Culture Studies and Theatre History at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. She taught at the Universities of Vienna and Graz, with visiting professorships at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Stanford University, USA.
