Education

Basic musical training in piano, singing and violin at Upper Austrian music schools and the Anton Bruckner Private University; studied psychology at the University of Vienna (graduated in 2008); studied instrumental and vocal pedagogy, majoring in singing with a focus on integrative breathing, voice and movement training at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the Escola Superior de Musica de Catalunya (graduated in 2010);

Postgraduate training as a clinical and health psychologist (graduated 2012, GkPP Vienna); psychotherapeutic propaedeutic course (graduated 2015); psychotherapeutic specialist course (systemic family therapy, ÖAS) and registration in the list of psychotherapists of the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection (May 2020)


Professional experience

Experience as a musician in various choirs, as a soloist and as an instrumental and vocal teacher, including at the Vienna Singing School; work focus as a clinical psychologist and psychologist of choice in working with children, adolescents and their families; since 2011 in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry: several years as a psychologist in Germany (Vorwerker Fachklinik für Kinder- und Jugendpsychiatrie/Lübeck); since 2015 as a clinical psychologist at the outpatient clinic for child and adolescent psychiatry of the SOS Children's Village in Vienna; since 2019 psychotherapist in private practice, including accompanying musicians.

Research into the interfaces between music and psychology as part of scientific projects and various lectures; until 2011 lecturer in music psychology at the University of Vienna Faculty of Psychology; since 2016 lecturer in music psychology at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna; since 2017 lecturer in the postgraduate course in music physiology at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna
