Teaching focus
-
Embodiment: feeling your own body creates the kinaesthetic basis for making music.
-
Alignment: simple movements lead to a realignment of the body.
-
Breath: your own breath is experienced and used as a connection between body and music.
-
Ideokinesis: easily recalled images make it possible to apply these new experiences while making music.
-
Focus: focus work connects the physical, emotional and mental processes during playing.
All of these methods together gradually allow you to (re)discover an original joy and lightness in instrumental playing/singing.
