University lecturer at the Institute for Music Education Research, Music Didactics and Elementary Music Making at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna

Applied specializations: Child, youth and family psychology, counseling parents and educators in the context of learning, listening, making music and communicating

Main areas of research: Musical development of the child, learning psychology aspects of instrumental teaching, occupational stress/challenges, stress and job satisfaction in the music school sector

Works as a clinical psychologist with hearing impaired and deaf children and adolescents and their families at the Pedo-audiological Counseling and Therapy Center of the Institute for Sensory and Speech Neurology, Convent Hospital of the Brothers of Mercy in Linz, where she also develops and evaluates mental health programs for people with hearing impairments

University lecturer for educational and developmental psychology at the MDW
