Personal focus and teaching goals

  •     My body as an instrument and its capacity for sound

  •     Improving breathing, movement and perception

  •     Releasing tension, activating in the event of under-tension

  •     Positive experience of stage fright

  •     Presence and success on stage

  •     Convincing interpretation

“Tension is who you think you are
- Relaxation is who you are”
(Chinese proverb)

Our body feels, acts and experiences. This process is reflected functionally in our breathing rhythm and in our movements. How much freedom of movement do we have? How much space is available for our breathing? Where do tensions show up?

With the help of functional relaxation, students learn to improve their breathing and movement rhythm and to sensitize their perception. If they succeed in improving their relationship with themselves, the basis for change is created. The dissolution of old movement patterns creates a new body awareness, gives us more self-responsibility and releases our creativity. This process strengthens self-confidence and promotes an authentic approach to ourselves. This allows us to cope with demands (practicing, teaching, performing, etc.) in a more relaxed way.

Mental training means using the power of your own thoughts in a positive way to achieve your own goals, overcome crises, seize opportunities, shape your own life in a self-determined way and be successful and happy. What we can imagine, we can achieve. Our quality of life and our success are based not least on our mental strength and our physical well-being. The freer our thoughts are, the more lightness we feel. The more relaxed our body is, the more relaxed we are when taking on challenges.
