Nina Rotner
Alexander Technique teacher, singer and music mediator
Nina Rotner, born in Slovenia, graduated in theology, lived in Berlin for 15 years, where she studied and obtained her bachelor's degree in jazz singing at the Jazz Institute Berlin (UdK/Hanns Eisler). She combines her experience in the performing arts with her expertise in bodywork. She is a certified Alexander Technique teacher (ATVD), a former board member of the Alexander Technique Association Germany and works as an assistant at the Alexander Technique School Berlin under the direction of Jörg Aßhoff, where she accompanies the training of new teachers.
In addition to her work as a teacher, she was active as a singer, actress and speaker and worked in participative projects at the Deutsche Oper Berlin as well as in theater and music education.
With the founding of “Alexander Technique Slovenia”, she has created a forum for further education and exchange, especially for artists. She organizes training courses, teaches herself and invites experts from abroad to further establish the method in Slovenia and make it accessible.
Her professional development includes 'Breathing and the Voice' as well as continuous training in the areas of Movement Evolution®, Sensorimotor Awareness and voice-related methods such as Estill Voice Training and Complete Vocal Technique.
Nina Rotner will support the team from winter semester 2025.
